1) Badrinath
Badrinath is located in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Every year, from the day after Diwali, the doors of Badrinath are closed in winter. After this, the doors are opened again in summer. Earlier, Adi Guru Shankaracharya came to Dwarka temple and established Sharda Peeth.
It is estimated that this temple is 2500 years old. In the Dwapar era, there was a city called Dwarka, which is now submerged in the sea. Currently, the Dwarkadhish temple is located at this holy place. There are two gates to enter the Dwarkadhish temple, the main gate is called ‘Moksha Dwar’ and the second gate is called ‘Swarg Dwar’. Lord Krishna is installed in the form of silver in the temple.
It is said that the original Dwarka drowned in the sea but as its remains there are two places named Bet Dwarka and Gomti Dwarka. There is a long pond to the south of Dwarka, which is known as Gomti Talab, after which Dwarka is called Gomti Dwarka. There are nine ghats on the Gomti pond, out of which there is a pond near the government ghat, the name of this pond is Nishpap Kund, it is filled with the water of Gomti.
3) Jagannath Temple
Jagannath Temple is in Odisha. Lord Krishna along with Balram and sister Subhadra are worshipped in this temple. Jagannath Rath Yatra is taken out with great pomp in the Shukla Paksha of Ashadh month, which concludes on the day of Devshayani Ekadashi. Since time immemorial, this festival is celebrated with reverence and devotion. In this journey, Lord Krishna and Balram take their sister Subhadra on a city tour. A large number of devotees participate in the Rath Yatra, there is a crowd of devotees here even on normal days.
4) Rameshwaram
Rameswaram is one of the four Dhams located in Tamil Nadu. According to religious belief, Lord Shri Ram had established the idol of Lord Shiva in Rameswaram while going to Lanka and worshiped him. This idol was made by Ramji himself with his own hands. Ramji named the Shivalinga as Rameswaram. Shiva has been worshipped in Rameshwar since Treta Yuga.
